The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector has emerged as a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy over the last five decades contributing significantly to the economic and social development of the country by fostering entrepreneurship and generating largest employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost, next only to agriculture.
Geethanjali Institute of Science & Technology has organized an MSME RALLY on 16th Nov 2018 at Damaramadugu village, with 40 students and a number of members of faculty participating in it. The participants highlighted the positive dimension of MSME and created awareness among the villagers about the expanding domain across sectors of the economy, producing diverse range of products and services to meet the demands of domestic as well as global markets. The inputs were well received. It is an enriching experience to all those who attended it.
