Report On Legal Awareness About Women Related Laws
In view of the recent crime against the women, it was seen important to make the women aware about their rights and the laws which are made for their protection as well as the other legal aspects which help them in untoward circumstances. The women should be aware about these and thus should not consider themselves helpless.
On 19th September 2019, a seminar was organized in the Geethanjali institute of science and technology. Mrs.B.Radha Rani, additional judicial magistrate of Kovur was invited to address our students. She explained in detail and through everyday examples about what are the situations that can be considered as offense and what measures can be taken in such situations. Around 100 students and staff members were present at the program. The girl students as well the teachers found this information very important.
