The geethanjali institute of science and technology celebrated the Children’s Day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. This day is commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence. In Gist campus it was a fun- filled day for the students. The students were taken by surprise as many events and activities were scheduled for the day. Principals, Head of the Departments, Faculty Members and last but not the least the students were present on the occasion. The students and faculty of the different Departments to make this Children’s Day special and memorable for the underprivileged students of nearby primary school and slum area. Guided by the spirit of the saying “We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone” the departments made a humble effort and distributed education facilitating packets consisting copies, writing materials and snacks to the school going primary students of the nearby village and slum dwelling children
