In this camp Overwhelming number of Volunteers of different department students participated with Vivacity. The activity of blood donation was started by NSS (national service scheme) &volunteers of geethanjali college thereafter other donors joined the event. The N.S.S. Unit of GIST, in collaboration with Lions Club Nellore, conducted a Mega Voluntary blood donation camp in connection with Engineers Day on 15th September 2016, and donated 214 units of blood to the Red Cross Blood Bank. Some of the donors who could not donate this time were assured for donation in the next camp. A Certificate of appreciation, donation card, and refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
