Three weeks online workshop on “Android Application Development” at GIST
Three weeks online workshop on “Android Application Development” was organizedby the department of ECE, from7th to 26thJune 2021in collaboration withAPSSDC. The experts from APSSDC explained various concepts of Android Application Development related aspects right from the fundamentalsfor IIIyear II Semester B.Tech ECE students.
The workshop started with a presentation on Android basics and its related fields where opportunities are abundant in the industry. The presentation clearly explained what skills are required to become Android Application Developmentor engineer. The entire workshop was focus on developing the android programming and apps development.
The workshop resource persons initially focused on basic on the technology and then todesignon related projects. The students got a chance to learn in depth about programming methodologies, Github and code dumping processes. Meanwhile the queries raised by the students were also answered in an efficient way in all the sessions by the resource persons.
The workshop participants were able to successfully code and run their programs.The workshop turned out to be a major successful event, imparting lot of knowledge about Android Application Development ,Github, apps designs and how to dump into the play store .
The Principal of GIST, Prof. Dr. G.Subba Rao, in the inaugural address also mentioned the demand of Drone Technology in the related fields of Electronics. Mr.P.Raghava Reddy, The head of the department ofECE (Admin), Dr.P.Chakrapani HOD,IICC,Mr.U.Penchalaiah,Assistant Professortook part in the workshop actively.
