One Day National Level Faculty Workshop

3D PRINTING

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized a National level One Day Faculty workshop on “3D PRINTING” on 25th August 2018. Dr Y. Ravi Kumar, Associate Professor, NIT, Warangal has delivered a key note address and inculcated awareness on 3D Printing Technology for students & faculty members.
The workshop was designed to get exposure in the main facets of 3D Printing including 3D Scanning, 3D Modelling, Preparing the file for Print, and finally 3D Printing and provide knowledge to the participants in the area of additive manufacturing. The applications of 3 Dimensional printing in the current industrial scenario was also discussed in details.
