TWO WEEK ISTE STTP ON CMOS,MIXED SIGNAL AND RADIO FREQUENCY VLSI DESIGN

A five day ISTE STTP was held at GIST from 30th Jan to 4th Feb 2017 under the auspicious of IIT Kharagpur, as part of the Initiative National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Government of India).
The IIT Kharagpur conducted tutorial sessions and lab sessions for faculty during the five day workshop. The lecture transmission and live interaction took place in distance mode using A-View technology through the internet.
The participating faculty have completed the equivalent of two-week full time work online, where video lectures and assignments were uploaded before hand.
A face to face interaction and lecture sessions were conducted through A-view at DG hall. Valuable inputs and insights were provided to the faculty in subjects like VLSI design, Fundamentals of Radio Frequency Engineering Design, Implementation of Mixed Signal Circuits and Systems, Design and Analysis of radio Frequency Integrated Circuits, Mixed Signal and RFIC design, Analog-Frontend design , Digital VLSI design VLSI architecture and video processing etc.
The interactive question and answer session conducted by subject experts very greatly benefited the 39 faculty who attended the workshop.
Dr. Y. Jahnavi, incharge, IIT Remote centre and Mr. M. Mahesh Kumar, event coordinator successfully supervised the event.
