Right to Information (Statutory Declaration Under Sec-4(1) (B) of RTI Act 2005)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Right to Information Act, 2005 has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force\u00a0from 15 June, 2005. This Act provides for right to information for citizens to secure access to\u00a0information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency and\u00a0accountability in the working of every public authority. All Universities and Colleges established\u00a0by law made by Parliament or by State Legislature or by notification by the appropriate\u00a0Government or owned, controlled or substantially financed directly or indirectly by funds\u00a0provided by the Government shall come within the meaning of a Public Authority under this Act.\u00a0Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, has constituted the RTI Cell as per above Government norm &\u00a0regulations to enable the students, citizens, and stakeholders to have the necessary access to the\u00a0RTI related information\/disclosures. Application Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n

The application may be type-written or neatly hand-written wherein atop \u201cApplication\u00a0under RTI Act 2005.<\/p>\n

The application may preferably be written through an e-mail and is accepted as a mode as\u00a0per law and there is no such prescribed proforma for application.<\/p>\n

Applications will not be discarded on the ground that they were not in prescribed\u00a0proforma.<\/p>\n

The application should be written in English or Telugu and be in a simple and easy\u00a0language<\/p>\n

Application is simply addressed to the \u201cPublic\u00a0Information Officer, Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology, Nellore<\/p>\n

Mention your question\u00a0question direct-point wise, avoid asking vague questions.<\/p>\n
