A theme writing contest was held at GIST on 07.10.2016 with the objective of creating awareness among the engineering students under the auspices of IEEE students chapter. In all 163 students took part in the event.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. G Subbarao, Principal said that to foster good communication skills and ignite creative thinking among the students, thus making them partners in social advancement. Mr. N. Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary and Correspondent, said that the programme would facilitate the students to improve spirit of Innovative and imagination and prepare them to face the challenges of life with competence and confidence, to reach great heights of success.
Mr. G. Kameswari, Head of R&D Dept, Mr. Ravi Kumar IEEE Coordinator, and 12 members of IEEE students chapter and several students participated in the event.
