AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON COMMUNICATION SKILLS
An awareness Programme on ‘English Communication Skills” was organized under the auspices of Sri Rmakrishna Mth at GIST on 21.01.2017, saturaday in the connection with the swami Vivekananda 154th Jayanthi celebrations, for the I.B.Tech students of all branches.
The resource person and an eminent communication skills trainer and renowned personality development trainer Mr.S.O.L.Sharma. He emphasized on the need to learn fluent English speaking ability to overcome the complex challenges in the prevailing global scenario. He interacted with the students offering clarification to several doubts entertaining to English communication development, raised by the students.
Prof.Dr.G.Subba Rao, addressing the students said that such awareness programmes would broaden the intellectual horizons of the students and then institution keeps focus special focus on improving the communication skills of the students.
Mrs.Vijaya HOD,S&H Dept, other HODs, faculty and students participated in the programme. At the end of the event, booklets of the teachings of swami Vivekananda and copies of Ramakrishna Prabha Magazines were distributed to the students and faculty. The event turned out to be the huge success with the active participation of students and faculty.
