‘SRUJANA2K17'- A National level Symposium at GIST

SRUJAN2K17 a national level symposium with a theme of ‘Sound Foundations’ is organised on a grand scale for I.B.Tech students at GIST on 25th March, which primary objective is to widen and deepen the basics of knowledge of I.B.Tech Technical Graduates.

I.B.Tech students from various colleges around and in house students of all branches around 300 members were actively participated in paper presentation and quiz competition and rejoiced with all the amenities provided by the organizers at venues and expressed their highest satisfaction in this regard at the feedback session.

Participating in the event as chief guest Sri.N.Babu Jacob, Regional Inspecting Officer, BIE, Nellore, AP advised students to lay solid foundations in the basic Engineering subjects at initial level of their graduation through these sort of symposiums and other enlightening events held around for a successful academic and professional career.

Sri.M. Raja Reddy, HoD of Projects and Publications Division of GIST speaking on the occasion said that Symposiums like these provide would provide valuable platform to students to exhibit their creative skills, technical skills and communicative skills which are very prominently required for their successful academic and professional careers.

Dr.G.Subba Rao, Principal speaking on the occasion, GIST is always at fore front in organising these types of academic events timely to provide a platform for the fresh technical students to enhance their creative and technical skills either by observation or by participation.

Sri.n.Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary and Correspondent in his special address said that students should desist from the mechanical rote learning and develop their creative skills and thinking process by utilising these sort of academic events organised around.

Mrs.K.Vijaya HoD of S&H Dept, Prof.G.kameswari,HoD of R&D Dept, Prof.G.Sathish paul, senior professor in English, Dr.B.Lavanya, M.Gayathri senior faculty in Mathes, H&S faculty and all faculty members of other departments, student volunteers, are participated in the event.
