Mr.B.Suryudu, Regional Joint Director, Technical Education, SVU Divison,Tirupati Visited our Campus and delivered a lecture  on “The Fundamentals of ECE –Real time applications” to the Final Year ECE students on 13th June 2016  in association with GIST- IEEE student branch , thereby making them aware of Basic fundamentals of engineering and the need to recall them in regard to real time applications.

As a part of session, he entrenched them useful inputs and insights into the definition of DC (Direct Current). He suggested the students that they should visualize the developments and trends emerging in this concept by way of examples. Later he defined AC (Alternating Current), its representations and applications. He elaborated on sine and cosine waves with their forms and shape. He detailed the students how do EMF gets generated and how the current flows in a transformer from primary to secondary without any physical contact. His lecture amply clarified the doubts that most of the students have raised during the fundamental learning process. He provided practicable solutions to many complex questions which would remain unanswered without proper clarification. He emphasized the importance of gaining a strong grip on the fundamentals of engineering and offered them some useful techniques to remember them.

The session turned out to be a grand success with the active and enthusiastic participation and fruitful interaction of the Students, Chief Guest and the faculty members.
