GIST IEEE STUDENT CHAPTER
IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its highly-cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing and technology information around the globe.
There are more than 420,000 IEEE members in more than 160 countries. IEEE publishes a third of the world’s technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics and is a leading developer of international standards that underpin many of today’s telecommunications, information technology and power generation products and services.
Geethanjali Institute of Science & Technology took a lead to associate with IEEE to enhance research oriented activities among students and it is initiated from 2015. All the M-Tech students are the members of IEEE.
CSI STUDENT CHAPTER
Computer society of india was formed in 1965 has the motive to guide the Indian IT industry since its formation.Today IT has successfully completed silver jublie for its consistent involvement in innovative and indigenous Developments In The Field Of Information Technology In India. Today, the CSI has 72 chapters all over India, 511 student branches, and more than 100000 members including India’s most famous IT industry leaders, brilliant scientists and dedicated academicians.
Geethanjali has started its journey along with CSI from 2011 with the vision of involving students in innovative developments in the field of IT.
- Three faculty members have recognized as nominee members.
- 134 students registered in CSI student chapter.
- Various activities like Paper presentations, Quiz competitions and Exhibitions are conducted.
- Various National level workshops are organized under the GIST-CSI Student Chapter.
Geethanjali Institute of Science & Technology moved towards enhancing the ideology and technical aspects of students. Students of I, II, III & IV year students are members of CSI Student Chapter.
